About
I am a DFG Walter Benjamin postdoctoral researcher with Mathias Drton in the chair of Mathematical Statistics, Technical University of Munich. I also have a guest contract at Helmholtz Munich in the group of Niki Kilbertus.
Previously, I was a postdoctoral researcher in the Statistical Machine Learning group at ETH Zürich with Fanny Yang. I received my PhD at the Empirical Inference Department, Max Planck Institute for Intelligent Systems, Tübingen, Germany, supervised by Krikamol Muandet and Bernhard Schölkopf. Before that, I obtained my MSc Statistics at ETH Zürich, supervised by Sara van de Geer, and BA and MMath (Part III) in Mathematics at the University of Cambridge.
I recently gave a tutorial at UAI 2026 (slides). The accompanying text is here. The title of the tutorial was “Causal spaces: A mathematical axiomatisation of causality”.
